About ME
I strongly believe that a garden no matter its size succeeds in relation to the buildings, its history, its local vernacular and most importantly the needs of its owner.
Having studied fine arts and graphic design, culminating in a career as Creative Director in multinational advertising companies, my approach to design is characterised by strong lines and a bold architectural framework counterbalanced and softened by rich and lush planting. I believe this gives a garden year round presence while creating balance and harmony. Ensuring a year round seasonal interest is key to my design as the immense sensorial pleasures we get from being immersed in them in the middle of summer should be the same in January.
In this pandemic we’ve realised that never has man been so disconnected from nature. However, there is an awakening. By 2050, 66% of the population will live in cities. Hence, as a designer, I want to set a scene where the occupants take pleasure and benefit from green spaces and their healing powers, while creating their own sanctuary, happily coexisting with all life forms therein.
